Latest registrations, awards protocol and news from Matildica

Please note that the online registration for the Granfondo Matildica has ended, but that you can still register for the competition on Friday 15 June from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, Saturday 16 July from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm and Sunday morning from 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.

Unlike other competitions, the Granfondo Matildica awards will have different times and a full protocol for the double award between those taking part in the UEC European Championship and the 50th Granfondo Matildica award ceremony:

At 10.45 there will be the MF ASSOLUTE AWARDS

At 11.45 there will be ASSOLUTE PRIZIONS GF

At 12.00 there will be the start of the EUROPEAN AWARDS MF – GF: it is specified that the award-winning participants will have to present themselves wearing their own social uniform

And finally at 13.35 will take place the MATILDICA PRIZIONS

Also remember that the testimonial of the competition, Gilberto Simoni, will participate and pedal together with the participants; Simoni has already arrived in Reggio, in fact yesterday he took part in the Cronoscalata della Pietra di Bismantova, where to wait for him at the finish he met the Olympic champion Giuliano Razzoli.

The free navigation app Waze is Mobility Partner of the 50th edition of the Granfondo Matildica and Formula Bici with the aim of improving both the traffic in the areas where the competition passes and to avoid traffic jams and slowdowns while saving time for motorists on the road. Roads closed to traffic and opening and closing times of roads that will affect the sporting event are listed on the Waze website and app. By downloading the free app, drivers will be supported on their way around the race route thanks to real-time alerts from active users on Waze and the ongoing work of the Map Editor volunteer community.
